The Auto Club Group (ACG) Privacy Statement

This Privacy Statement governs the way The Auto Club Group (ACG) collects, holds and uses personal information that you may submit to it through its web recruitment system.

The term "The Auto Club Group (ACG)" or "the Company" as used in this Privacy Statement refers to The Auto Club Group and the subsidiaries and divisions of The Auto Club Group that use the web recruitment system. The term "system" as used in this Privacy Statement refers to the web recruitment system operated by The Auto Club Group.

The Auto Club Group uses a web-based recruitment system that serves to communicate career opportunities that become available within The Auto Club Group. Job seekers are free to use the system to explore such opportunities. For this purpose, the system facilitates the submission and transfer of personal information normally required in order to explore suitability for a job, such as curriculum vitae and details of candidates' educational qualifications, professional skills and experience. The Auto Club Group uses the system to receive and process job seeker applications, with a view to identifying the most suitable candidates for jobs. This includes communications in relation to candidate applications, interviews, alternative job opportunities and other steps up to and including job offers. This Privacy Statement sets forth the ground rules concerning the use and protection of the data that are processed via the system.

When voluntarily submitted, your personal data are collected for the purpose(s) defined above. Personal data will solely be used within The Auto Club Group and for the purpose(s) for which you have submitted them. Personal information will be accessed only by limited and authorized The Auto Club Group staff, staff of The Auto Club Group's third party agents and designated business partners for further processing, as set out above. All parties who have access to the data will be under obligation to maintain their security and confidentiality. In addition, The Auto Club Group may disclose your personal data to government and/or law enforcement agencies, where it is required to do so in order to comply with any legal obligation. The Auto Club Group does not use personal information for direct marketing or for unsolicited purposes. When you register on the system, you may need to complete certain fields as well as choose a user name and password. Some fields are required and some are optional. The fields that require you to complete information requested are denoted with a star. If you choose to withhold any personal data for required fields, it may not be possible for you to gain access to certain parts of the system.

For security reasons, the system may require you to provide proper additional identity information in order to avoid any communication of confidential information concerning you to a person other than you.

This Privacy Statement covers only The Auto Club Group web recruitment system. Links from the system may take you to sites operated by third parties that are not within The Auto Club Group's control and are not covered by this Privacy Statement. You are prohibited from posting or transmitting any unlawful, threatening, libelous, defamatory, obscene, scandalous, inflammatory, pornographic, or profane material or any material that could constitute or encourage conduct that would be considered a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violate any law.
